Call To Order/Roll Call Present 8 - Regular Member Billy Gurr, Regular Member Catherine Brady, Regular Member Charles Dukes, Regular Member Ed Hanson, Regular Member Jennifer Prather, Regular Member Laurel Eller, Regular Member Sheryl Carstens, and Regular Member Tonia Lopez 2. Standing Items Financials A recent report was shared with the membership. Carstens reported that moving forward, the financials will be shared bi-monthly in order to get a full end-of-month report. Strategic Plan Prather went over overall goals and gave a brief report on the progress of each. Goal 1 items: - Filling vacancies the board currently has 3 vacancies. - Board Demographic Survey, has been completed. Prather will reshare the link for members to fill out. - Presenting data to council ongoing - Board Development ongoing - Develop new board member onboard checklist/description Hanson will lead. Goal 2 items: - Need to formalize process and ownership and procedures for use. Eller and Gurr to connect for next steps and proposal. Goal 3 items: -The board has had success with increasing new sources of unrestricted revenue through a plan that includes new sources of revenue. Carstens will verify exact amount fundraised at Touch-a-Truck. 3. Painting for a Purpose Members are expected to procure or commit to getting 2 silent auction items. Ticket sales have been very low, three sponsorships have been secured. Theme has been narrowed down to two: Halloween or Colorado Heart 7 members voted for the Colorado Heart theme. 1 member for the Halloween theme. 5. Other Proposed fundraising event to replace Golf Tournament Fun Run Adult Field Day Bar Crawl Non-golf event at Buffalo Run Golf Course Prather proposed that in September the members make a final decision between the proposed events. 6. Announcements and Upcoming Dates Annual Planning Meeting Saturday, November 16. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Place to be determined. November Regular Meeting will be cancelled December Regular Meeting to be held December 17 instead of the 24th. October 22 board meeting will be held at Bison Ridge Recreation Center to be able to do a walk through of Painting for a Purpose. Upcoming events Grant Strategies Workshop, September 17.
