Call To Order/Roll Call Meeting called to order at 6:04 p.m. Present: Laurel Eller, Sheryl Carstens, Christina Kassel, Billy Gurr, Catherine Brady, Laura Hellewel, Ingrid Barnett Absent: Tonia Lopez, Revisha Martinez Guests: Theresa Wilson 2. Approval of Minutes Motion to approve meeting minutes by member Carstens. Motion seconded by member Gurr. Minutes were unanimously approved. Attachments: Minutes 3/23/2021 3. Regular Business Introductions New members and guest had an opportunity to introduce themselves and meet everyone else on the board. Scholarship Review Members reviewed and discussed scholarship application scores. Funding allows to fully fund two scholarship awards. Member Eller motioned to approved the top two scores. The motion was seconded by member Gurr. Motion was unanimously approved. Council Update Presentation Member Eller reported out that the board will be giving an update to City Council on May 24. The goal of the presentation is to update City Council on overall activities, accomplishments, and current things in progress. Golf Tournament Member Eller met with director of parks and recreation Carolyn Keith. In order to move forward with the partnership, the articles of incorporation need to be amended Funding for two scholarships will be guaranteed. More details to come. Member Gurr motioned to move forward with staff taking the steps to amend articles of incorporation with language that would align with fundraising efforts of the board. Motion was seconded by member Hellewel. Motion was approved. Other Microsoft office training will happen during the May meeting. Staff will be making a transition from Google Drive to Share Point. 5. Announcements & Upcoming Dates Next meeting, May 25. 6.
