Call To Order Meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m. Present: Laurel Eller, Billy Gurr, Laura Hellewell, Theresa Wilson, Tonia Lopez, Michael Farrington, Melinda Larson, Ingrid Barnett, LaCrea Dixon, Catherine Brady Board president Eller asked that in light of recent allegations and complaints of board leadership, she would like to request a vote of no confidence of her position as board president. Board members were asked to email staff their vote; a yay vote to be considered a vote of no confidence therefore asking board president to step down. A Nay vote to be a vote of confidence and ask board president to remain in her position. Final Vote: 2- Abstain 1- Yay 7- Nay Board vice president Gurr asked that in light of recent allegations and complaints of board leadership he would like to request a vote of no confidence of his position as board vice president. Board members were asked to email staff their vote; a yay vote to be considered a vote of no confidence therefore asking board vice president to step down. A Nay vote to be a vote of confidence and ask board vice president to remain in his position. Final Vote: 2- Abstain 1- Yay 7- Nay 2. Executive Session Board president Eller motioned to go into executive session as allowed by the board by-laws stating, Financial and strategic discussions, personnel matters, and evaluation of programs shall be considered confidential matters and will be conducted in Executive Session. Board member Farrington seconded the motion. Motion was passed unanimously. 9-yay 1-nay. Board president Eller motion to leave out of executive session to the scheduled special meeting. The motion was seconded by member Hellewell. Motion was passed unanimously. 9-yay 1-nay. Board president Eller motion to make a recommendation to City Council to remove Commerce City Page 1 Quality Community Foundation Meeting Minutes August 30, 2021 Ingrid Barnett from the Quality Community Foundation Board.
