Call To Order Chair Hellewell called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m. Present 3 - Board Member Melinda Larson, Board Member Tonia Lopez, and Board Member Theresa Wilson Absent 1 - Board Member LaCrea Dixon 2. Approval of Minutes Min 22-231 Minutes of July 26, 2022 Meeting Chair Hellewell made a motion to approve the minutes of July 26, 2022 meeting. Board member Wilson seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 3. Financial Update Board member Wilson shared there will be a 2021 financial update at the September meeting. Board member Brady joined the meeting at 6:15 p.m. Board member Lopez joined the meeting at 6:20 p.m. 4. Subcommittee Reports Curt Holland Memorial Scholarship Program Staff Liaison, Jenny Penoncello, provided an updated on the Fall 2022 scholarship payments. The Board discussed potential resources for a community organization in need of a new playground. Curt Holland Memorial Golf Tournament Board member Eller provided an update on the upcoming golf tournament. It was determined the Board would have a table at the upcoming event. The Board also discussed additional partnership and fundraising opportunities. Chamber of Commerce Support & Involvement Chair Hellewell lead a discussion on QCF's involvement in Chamber of Commerce and City events. Annual Retreat Date The Board discussed potential dates for the Annual Retreat. It was determined the 2022 Annual Retreat would be held on December 3, 2022 at the Civic Center in place of the November and December meetings. 6.
