Call to Order Chair Larson called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. Present 8 - Board Member Braden Hellewell, Board Member Laurel Eller, Board Member Melinda Larson, President Laura Hellewell, Board Member Theresa Wilson, Board Member Stephanie Levi, Board Member Kayla Burby, and Board Member Sarai Thomas 2. Approval of Minutes Min 23-192 Minutes of June 27, 2023 Meeting Chair Larson made a motion to approve the minutes of the June 27, 2023 meeting. Board member Burby second the motion which was approved unanimously. 3. Monthly Treasurer's Report Board member Wilson provided an update. 4. Subcommittee Reports: A. Scholarship Program None. B. Curt Holland Memorial Golf Tournament Board member Eller provided a golf tournament update. C. Nonprofit Grants Chair Larson provided an update on the work of the nonprofit grant subcommittee. September Meeting / Boards & Commission Celebration Chair Larson made a motion to move the September meeting to Thursday, Sept. 28. Board member Levi seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. B. Election of Vice Chair Board member Burby nominated Board member Hellewell as Vice Chair. Board member Hellewell accepted the nomination. Chair Larson made a motion to approve Board member Hellewell as QCF Vice Chair. Board member Wilson seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 6. Old Business The Board discussed Fall Fest. It was determined the Board would participate, and staff will bring craft ideas to the September meeting. 7. Other Business None. 8. Adjourn Chair Larson adjourned at 7:15 p.m. Commerce City Page 2
