Call To Order
Vice Chair Boyd called the meeting to order at 3:09 p.m.
Present 10 - Commissioner Carlita Plummer, Commissioner Carol Boyd, Commissioner
Carole Harvell, Commissioner Gabriela Adeshewo, Commissioner George
Maxey, Commissioner Mary Chan, Commissioner Tillie Villareal, Alternate
Commissioner Mary Natho, Alternate Commissioner Tina Ledesma, and
Council Member Susan Noble
Absent 3 - Commissioner Jennie Loveridge, Commissioner Myrna Ferguson, and
Mayor Pro Tem Jennifer Allen-Thomas
Guest Speaker
Director of the Area Agency on Aging at the Denver Regional Council of Governments,
Jayla Sanchez-Warren, presented on services, resources and goals of the agency.
Director Sanchez-Warren will provide the Board contact information for Volunteers of
America and Project Angel Heart.
Senior Resources Fair
Registered Organizations and vendors
The Board discussed organizations and vendors that have already registered for the
Senior Resources Fair, as well as further spoke on logistics.
Chair Plummer will follow-up with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
coordinator, George Lewis.
Pending Registrations
The Board discussed which potential vendors needed to be followed-up with, as well as
the types of volunteers needed.
Meeting Updates
The Board was reminded that upcoming study sessions will be held on May 20, 2022
and May 27, 2022.

Memorial Day Logistics
The Board discussed the logistics for the Memorial Day Parade.
It was confirmed that Community Relations would be providing a new Senior
Commission banner for the group.
