Call To Order/Roll Call Chair Plummer called the meeting to order at 3:03 p.m. Present 9 - Mayor Pro Tem Susan Noble, Commissioner Carol Taylor-Boyd, Commissioner Carole Harvell, Commissioner Anita Mercado, Commissioner Gabriela Adeshewo, Commissioner Mary Natho, Commissioner Carlita Plummer, Commissioner Tina Ledesma, and Ex Officio Tina Ledesma Absent 4 - Alternate Commissioner Diane Narvaez, Commissioner Jennie Loveridge, Commissioner Mary Chan, and Commissioner Myrna Ferguson 2. Approval of Minutes Min 24-023 Minutes of the January 11th, 2024 meeting. Vice Chair Boyd requested these minutes be tabled to the March meeting. Commissioner Harvell motioned to table the minutes, seconded by Commissioner Natho. Vote: All aye 3. Public Comment - One member of the public joined to observe and introduced themselves. 4. Boards and Commissions Discussion Jordan Roberts, Deputy City Clerk, presented and discussed questions from the previous meeting. New Business The commission created a subcommittee and delegated responsibilities to the following: -Education classes- Commissioner Mary Chan -Vendor participation- Commissioner Tina Ledesma -Food and drinks- Commissioner Mary Natho -Registration Table/Decorations- Vice Chair Carol Boyd -Advertisement- Staff liaison Roxzana Martinez -Transportation- Chair Carli Plummer 6. Other Business Vice Chair Boyd made a motion, seconded by commissioner Natho, to hold the Senior Resource Fair at Eagle Pointe Recreation Center. Vote: All aye The commission proposed to hold the Senior Lunch & Learn on one of the following dates: April 10th/ 17th/ 24th. Vice Chair Boyd made a motion, seconded by commissioner Harvell, to not charge vendors a sign-up fee for their participation in the Senior Resource Fair. Vote: All aye 7. City Council Update Mayor Pro Tem Noble provided an update. 8.
