Call To Order/Roll Call A regular meeting of the Urban Renewal Authority was called to order by Chair Douglas on February 5, 2024 at 6:01 PM. Present: 12 - Oscar Madera, Rocky Teter, Renee Millard-Chacon, Susan Noble, Steven J. Douglas, Craig Kim, Charles Dukes, Sean Ford , Kristi Douglas, James Amador, Craig Machuga and Charles "Chaz" Tedesco Times given are estimates only 2. Approval of Minutes Min URA 24-001 Minutes of the November 13, 2023 Meeting A motion was made by Commissioner Teter, seconded by Commissioner Noble, that the URA Minutes be approved. VOICE VOTE: Unanimous, all present affirmed. 3. Resolutions Res URA A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR 2024-001 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH DAVIS PARTNERSHIP ARCHITECTS FOR MARKET FEASIBILITY AND CONCEPTUAL DESIGN SERVICES PERTAINING TO A NEW, PROPOSED MULTI-PURPOSE COMPLEX EXPECTED TO ANCHOR MILE HIGH GREYHOUND PARK A motion was made by Commissioner Madera, seconded by Commissioner Teter, that the URA Resolution be approved. VOICE VOTE: Unanimous, all present affirmed. 4. Presentations Commerce City Page 1 Urban Renewal Authority Meeting Minutes - Final February 5, 2024 Pres 24-070 DRAFT Amended Bylaws of the Urban Renewal Authority Bill Aiken, Director of the URA, gave the presentation. Pres 24-083 Mile High Greyhound Park Tract B Update Bill Aiken, Director of the URA, gave the presentation. 5. Executive Session 24-046 An executive session of the Urban Renewal Authority of Commerce City pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) and (b) for the purposes of instructing negotiators regarding terms of an existing sale of real property contract, specifically Tract B within the Mile High Greyhound Park and for conferences with an attorney for the purpose of receiving legal advice relating to the Purchase and Sale Agreement regarding the same A motion was made by Commissioner Noble, seconded by Commissioner Teter, to enter into an executive session pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) and (b) for the purposes of instructing negotiators regarding terms of an existing sale of real property contract, specifically Tract B within the Mile High Greyhound Park and for conferences with an attorney for the purpose of receiving legal advice relating to the Purchase and Sale Agreement regarding the same. VOICE VOTE: Unanimous, all present affirmed. 6. Adjourn The meeting adjourned at 7:49 PM.
