Call To Order/Roll Call A special meeting of the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority was called to order by Chairman Ford on May 8, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. A motion was made by Board Member Amador, seconded by Vice Chairman Bullock, to excuse Board Members Diaz and Elliott from this meeting. VOTE: 9 aye, 2 excused (Elliott, Diaz) Present: 9 - Jadie Carson, Jason McEldowney, Steven J. Douglas, Rick A. Teter, Andrew Amador, René Bullock, Sean Ford , Charles "Chaz" Tedesco and Timio Archuleta Excused: 2 - Crystal Elliott and Paolo Diaz 2. Approval of Minutes Min URA Meeting minutes of January 9, 2017 2017-02 A motion was made by Board Member Teter, seconded by Board Member McEldowney, that the minutes be approved. Resolutions Res URA RESOLUTION ACCEPTING APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL DISTRICT 2017-02 COMMISSIONER A motion was made by Board Member McEldowney, seconded by Board Member Amador, that this resolution be approved. Executive Session Commerce City Page 1 Urban Renewal Authority Meeting Minutes - Final May 8, 2017 17-14 An executive session, pursuant to CRS 24-6-402(4)(b) and (e), for the purposes or receiving legal advice relating to the Phased Master Development Agreement and Urban Renewal Plan for the Mile High Greyhound Park and determining positions, developing strategy, and instructing negotiators relevant to matters that may be subject to negotiation in connection with the Phased Master Development Agreement for the Mile High Greyhound Park and agreements with other taxing bodies for the sharing of incremental property tax revenue in connection with the proposed Mile High Greyhound Park Urban Renewal Plan. A motion was made by Board Member McEldowney, seconded by Board Member Douglas, to enter into an executive session, pursuant to CRS 24-6-402(4) (b) and (e), for the purposes or receiving legal advice relating to the Phased Master Development Agreement and Urban Renewal Plan for the Mile High Greyhound Park and determining positions, developing strategy, and instructing negotiators relevant to matters that may be subject to negotiation in connection with the Phased Master Development Agreement for the Mile High Greyhound Park and agreements with other taxing bodies for the sharing of incremental property tax revenue in connection with the proposed Mile High Greyhound Park Urban Renewal Plan.
