Call To Order/Roll Call A regular meeting of the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority was called to order by Chair Huseman on August 14, 2023, at 7:55 PM. A motion was made by Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Madera, to excuse those members not present. Resolutions Res URA A RESOLUTION OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY OF THE 2023-13 CITY OF COMMERCE CITY AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE SALE AND DEVELOPMENT OF AUTHORITY PROPERTY AT THE FORMER MILE HIGH GREYHOUND PARK FOR A RETAIL DEVELOPMENT A motion was made by Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Madera, that this Resolution be approved. Presentations Commissioner Machuga joined the meeting at 8:00 PM. Pres 23-513 Mile High Greyhound Park Tract A Update Bill Aiken, URA Director, presented on the phases of activation, tract A, TIF forecasts, and the institutional anchor schedule. Dr. Karla Loria, Adams 14 Superintendent, was present to answer questions from the URA Board. Pres 23-532 Urban Renewal Mid-Year Report Bill Aiken, URA Director, provided the mid-year report. 5. Executive Session 23-197 An executive session of the Urban Renewal Authority of Commerce City pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(a) to address the sale of real property, specifically Tract A and Tract B within the Mile High Greyhound Park, and also pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) for the purpose of instructing negotiators with regard to the same.
