Call To Order/Roll Call A regular meeting of the Veterans Commission of the City of Commerce City was called to order on February 21, 2023 at 6:03pm by Chair Reed. Present 5 - Commissioner Eloy Espinoza, Commissioner Gary Reed, Commissioner Kevin Reed, Commissioner Scott Hefty, and Commissioner Travis Watkins Absent 6 - Commissioner Benjamin Huseman, Commissioner David Lewis, Commissioner Erik Melendez, Commissioner Kathryn Nay, Commissioner Mark Chadwick, and Commissioner Oscar Madera 2. Approval of Minutes Min 23-036 Minutes of Meeting 20230117 Members unanimously approved the minutes of the January 17, 2023 meeting. 3. Veterans' Day Event Commissioners discussed partnering with the Parks, Recreation, and Golf department for a Veterans' Day event in 2023. 4. 2023 Work Plan Commissioners will review a work plan created by the vice-chair. 5. Other Business/Open Forum Commissioners discussed collaboration with other commissions and the Police Department. Commissioners discussed planning for the Memorial Day Parade. 6.
