Call To Order/Roll Call A regular meeting of the Veterans Commission of the City of Commerce City was called to order on July 18, 2023 at 6:03pm by Chair Reed. Present 7 - Commissioner David Lewis, Commissioner Eloy Espinoza, Commissioner Gary Reed, Commissioner Kathryn Nay, Commissioner Mark Chadwick, Commissioner Scott Hefty, and Commissioner Travis Watkins Absent 4 - Commissioner Benjamin Huseman, Commissioner Erik Melendez, Commissioner Kevin Reed, and Commissioner Oscar Madera 2. Updates Commissioner Espinosa moved to continue the April meeting minutes to August, seconded by Commissioner Hefty, approved unanimously 3. 2023 Work Plan Commissioners discussed the installation of flagpoles to represent all branches of the military Commissioners discussed the design of promotional materials for the commission Commissioners discussed the planning of a Veterans Day Event for 2023 4.
