Call To Order/Roll Call A regular meeting of the Veterans Commission of the City of Commerce City was called to order on September 19, 2022, at 6:06 PM by Chair Present 5 - Commissioner Eloy Espinoza, Commissioner Kathryn Nay, Commissioner Kevin Reed, Commissioner Scott Hefty, and Commissioner Travis Watkins Absent 6 - Commissioner Benjamin Huseman, Commissioner David Lewis, Commissioner Erik Melendez, Commissioner Gary Reed, Commissioner Mark Chadwick, and Commissioner Oscar Madera 2. Approval of Minutes Min 23-215 Meeting Minutes 20230815 A motion was made by Commissioner Hefty, seconded by Commissioner Espinoza, that this Minutes be approved. VOICE VOTE: Unanimous, all present affirmed. 3. Public Comment - There were no public comments. 4. Promotional Materials The Commission discussed Updating the Flyer than get it printed. Scott Hefty Motioned to increase the budget from $250 to $300 to buy 500 wooden Coins Kat Nay Seconded Passed Vote 5-0 in favor This was approved 5. Veterans' Day Event Discussed activities that are planned, sent emails to get updates on the flag raisings. 6.
