City celebrates Arbor Day April 15 and can work with them. ii). Sand Creek Greenway. Volunteer activities include trash pick up, removing invasive species, planting native trees and shrubs, removing graffiti, and repairing the trail. iii). Nature hike. iv). Field day at elementary school. v). Project with National Wildlife Refuge. A variety of opportunities are available in visitor services, natural resource management, administration, and service projects. 5. Review upcoming dates 6. 7:30 p.m. - new recreation center discussion 7. Open forum and additional business i). NLC travelers, stay a few minutes after meeting. 8. Upcoming dates: a. March 8: Inspire Colorado candidate forum b. March 17: Get Outdoors youth advisory team beings c. March 22: Visiting Colorado State Capitol i). Meet at civic center at 8:15am, bus leaves at 8:30am sharp. BRING YOUR PERMISSION SLIP! ii). At capitol: sit on the house floor, tour capitol and dome, lunch with Moreno and Ulibarri. iii).
