Call To Order/Roll Call Call to Order at 6:44 p.m. Present 14 - Commissioner Brianna Talmadge, Commissioner Diana Munoz, Commissioner Emmanuel Zamora Galarza, Commissioner Harnoor Hundal, Commissioner Jahaira Bueno-Rodriguez, Commissioner Jasnoor Kaur, Commissioner Jazmin Bueno, Commissioner Jordan Robinette, Council Regular Jose Guardiola, Commissioner Kyle Pham, Commissioner Michael Kelley, Council Regular Nicole Frank, Commissioner René Bullock, and Commissioner Stephani Struwe Excused 1 - Commissioner Andrea Jimenez Absent 1 - Commissioner Michael Arvizu 2. Ice Breaker Commissioner Jahaira Bueno-Rodriguez facilitated the meeting's ice breaker. 3. Approval of Minutes This was approved Minutes 03/21/2019 Attachments: Minutes 4. New Business 1) Commissioners brought back ideas for the Memorial Day Parade. The theme will be "Video Game Heroes", and the quote for the theme is "Heroes that inspire us to be heroes." 2) There are 5 youth commission spots and 2 adult positions open. Staff asked commissioners to help recruit. 3) Commissioners went over the attendance policy. Commissioner Pham motioned to remove Commssioner Dixon from the CCYC. Commissoner Hundal seconded. Motion was approved unanimously. 4) Commissioners talked about the upcoming NLC City Summit in November. Commerce City Page 1 Youth Commission Meeting Minutes April 4, 2019 5. Other Commissioners went over the upcoming events. The events for this month include the Fishing Derby on April 13th, The sustainable lifestyle expo on April 14th, and the Google Information Event on April 18th. 6.
