Call To Order/Roll Call Meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. Present: Jahaira Bueno-Rodriguez, Mike Kelley, LaCrea Dixon, Kyra Ann, Dixon, Ingrid Barnett, Rene Bullock, Councilman Jose Guardiola, Councilwoman Nicole Frank, Stephani Struwe Absent: Isabela Velasco-Zubia, Jose Rodriguez, Kay Thomas, Kyle Pham, Morgan Smith 2. Challenge Questions/Icebreaker Icebreaker Question: If you can master one instrument, which would it be? 3. Approval of Minutes Motion to approve meeting minutes from February and March made by commissioner Bullock. Seconded by Councilman Guardiola. Motion was unanimously approved. Members discussed passing out flyers; Councilman Guardiola will be putting together a presentation and will also talk with Adams 14 staff; staff will check to see if flyers can be promoted at recreation centers. Commerce City Page 1 Youth Commission Meeting Minutes April 15, 2021 Youth Conference The event will be tabled to be held later on in the year. Continue to keep it on meeting agendas so that youth continue discussion. Next Meeting Topic: Commissioners discussed future meeting topics and potentially having summers off with the exception of the summer planning retreat. May 6, meeting will be focused on recruitment, more details on the upcoming team-building/potluck and setting a retreat date and May 20, commissioners will have a team building/potluck. Commissioner Barnett motioned with the proposed plan for May meetings and taking off June & July meetings with the exception of the planning retreat. Councilman Guardiola seconded.
