Call to Order Vice Chair Isabela Velasco-Zubia called the meeting to order at 6:52 p.m. Adam Day & Rene Bullock were also present. Present 7 - Commissioner Aliyah Acevedo, Commissioner Desiree Kennison, Commissioner Isabela Velasco-Zubia, Council Member Kristi Douglas, Commissioner Laura Hellewell, Commissioner Travis Watkins, and Commissioner Serrianna Safieh Absent 13 - Commissioner Christina Wickersheim, Commissioner Cobe Koonce, Commissioner Keegan Jones, Commissioner Kenia Prieto, Commissioner Megan Pham, Commissioner Michael Kelley, Commissioner Morgan Smith, Commissioner Olivia Cordero, Commissioner Paia Martinez, Council Member Craig Kim, Commissioner Elizabeth Martinez-Atayde, Commissioner Manuel Guardiola-Rodriguez, and Commissioner Alejandra Guardiola 2. Team Building Activity The Commissioners participated in a team building activity. 3. Approval of Minutes Min 23-148 Minutes of May 18, 2023 Meeting Commissioner Acevedo made a motion to approve the minutes of May 18, 2023. Music in the Park Survey The Commission discussed the upcoming Music in the Park series. B. Blood Drive Update Due to a lack of availability, the Commission tabled the Blood Drive to next year. C. Annual Retreat Logistics The Board discussed Annual Retreat logistics. D. Upcoming Volunteer Opportunity Staff provided details for an upcoming volunteer opportunity. 6.
