Call to Order Chair Acevedo called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. Present 14 - Commissioner Aliyah Acevedo, Commissioner Cobe Koonce, Commissioner Desiree Kennison, Council Member Kristi Douglas, Commissioner Olivia Cordero, Commissioner Paia Martinez, Commissioner Travis Watkins, Council Member Craig Kim, Commissioner Elizabeth Martinez-Atayde, Commissioner Manuel Guardiola-Rodriguez, Commissioner Alejandra Guardiola, Commissioner Serrianna Safieh, Commissioner Adam Day, and Commissioner Eduardo Quintana Absent 4 - Commissioner Christina Wickersheim, Commissioner Keegan Jones, Commissioner Megan Pham, and Commissioner Michael Kelley 2. Ice Breaker The Commissioners participated in an ice breaker. Commissioner Koonce arrived. 3. Public Comment None. 4. Approval of Minutes Min 23-231 Minutes of Sept. 7, 2023 Meeting Board member Kennison made a motion to approve the minutes of the Sept. 7, 2023 meeting. Board member Safieh seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 5. New Business: A. Next Project The Commission brainstormed projects for the end of the 2023 year. Brighton Image Summit The Commission discussed the Brighton Image Summit. 7. Other Business The Commission discussed different opportunities to get involved in October. 8.
