Parkway Boulevard. Also present were Parks and Recreation Director Brad Reid and Administrative Services Manager Cecilia Gandara. The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items: Regular Session (Open to the Public) 1. Call To Order Chair Guignon called the meeting to order at 6:32 pm. Members present: Chair Ed Guignon, Boardmember Maria Rohe, Boardmember Earl Rogers, Boardmember Lisa Reynolds, Boardmember Ashish Vaidya, Vice Chair Nick Paschal, Alternate Maheshika Ratnayake, Alternate Brian Olsen, Youth Advisor Priya Marella, Youth Advisor Jonathan Henley, and Boardmember Earl Nesbitt City of Coppell, Texas Page 1 Parks and Recreation Board Minutes February 4, 2019 2. Citizens' Forum: Citizens should complete a Citizens Appearance Form. Pursuant to the State Open Meetings Law, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action on items not posted on the Agenda. Action on your statements can only be taken at future meetings Chair Guignon advised that no one signed up to speak. 3. Approval of minutes: January 7, 2019 A motion was made by Boardmember Reynolds, seconded by Boardmember Rohe, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by an unanimous vote. Chair Ed Guignon, Boardmember Maria Rohe, Boardmember Earl Rogers, Boardmember Lisa Reynolds, Boardmember Ashish Vaidya, Vice Chair Nick Paschal, and Boardmember Earl Nesbitt 4. Discussion and public input related to potential improvements at Allen Road Park Chair Guignon advised that there were no citizens present for input. The board discussed the potential for improvements between MacArthur Blvd. and Allen Road Park. 5. Presentation and discussion related to the DART Cotton Belt project Traci Leach, Deputy City Manager, gave a presentation in regards to the DART Cotton Belt project. 6. Discussion regarding Parks and Recreation Fees The board discussed daily admission fees at The CORE and agreed that there is no need for changes at this time. 7. Manager's Report - Lloyd Mauch, Park Operations Manager Park Operations Manager Lloyd Mauch gave a presentatin in regards to the Park Operations Division. 8. Youth Advisor's Report Nothing to report. 9. Director's Report A. Projects B. Special Events - Daddy/Daughter Dance, February 10 - March Music Series, March 8 & 22 A. No project update. B. Special Events - Daddy/Daughter Dance will held February 10 at the Senior Community Center. - March Music Series will be held on March 8 & 22 at Old Town.
