The Parks and Recreation Board of the City of Coppell, Texas, met in the 2nd Floor
Conference Room at 255 E. Parkway Boulevard.
The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items:
Regular Session (Open to the Public)
1. Call To Order
Chair Guignon called the meeting to order at 6:31 pm.

Ed Guignon, Maria Rohe, Earl Rogers, Lisa Reynolds, Nick Paschal, Maheshika
Ratnayake,
2. Citizens' Forum: Citizens should complete a Citizens Appearance Form. Pursuant to
the State Open Meetings Law, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action on
items not posted on the Agenda. Action on your statements can only be taken at future
meetings.
Chair Guignon advised that no one signed up to speak.

3. Consider approval of minutes: August 5, 2019
A motion was made by Boardmember Rogers, seconded by Boardmember
Reynolds, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by an
unanimous vote.
4. Annual update by the Coppell Baseball Association.
Ravi Malick, President of the Coppell Baseball Association, gave on update on
the associations registration numbers, challenges, and current activities.
5. Manager's Update - Eric Clay, Tennis Center Manager
Eric Clay, Tennis Center Manager, gave an update on summer activities and
the Texas Open Pickleball Championship that will be held at the Wagon
Wheel Tennis Center.
6. Youth Advisor's Report
No report.
7. Director's Report
A. Project Update
B. Special Events
A. The CORE Bridge replacement, Moore Rd./Riverchase/Fairview Bike Lanes
projects were approved by Council and CRDC. The Old Town Pavilion project
to install glass panes was awarded at Council. The connector trail at ABW to
the High School was approved by Council and will go to CRDC Monday night
for consideration. The MacArthur Blvd Trail design is almost complete and will
go out to bid.
B. Music series at Old Town began last Saturday night, the second event will
be held on September 21st. Food Truck Frenzie will be held on October 5th at
Andrew Brown East.

A. Game field usage for practice.

Notice is hereby given that the Parks and Recration Board of the City of Coppell, Texas, will
meet in the 2nd Floor Conference Room at 255 E. Parkway Boulevard.
As authorized by Section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may be
convened into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice
from the City Attorney on any agenda item listed herein.
