Foeman, City Clerk City Commission Meeting Minutes September 25, 2012 ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Mayor Cason, Commissioner Anderson, Commissioner Cabrera Jr., Vice Mayor Kerdyk Jr. and Commissioner Quesada 1. 12-1935 Presentation of proposed Fiscal Year 2012-2013 City Budget. This Agenda Item was Discussed and Filed City Clerk Item No. 1 2. 12-1936 Public Hearing for obtaining comments relative to Budget for Fiscal Year 2012-2013. This Agenda Item was Discussed and Filed City Clerk Item No. 2 Non 12-1978 Motion allocating an amount of $60,000 to be distributed to the Cultural Development Agenda Board, said funds to be disbursed as follows: $25,000 to the Coral Gables Museum, $25,000 to Miracle Theater and the remaining balance of $10,000 to the Cultural Development Board, with the caveat that the aforementioned two organizations can still apply to the Cultural Development Board for the remaining funds. A MOTION AMENDING THE FY 2012-2013 BUDGET ESTIMATE TO INCLUDE INCREASED FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $60,000 FOR CULTURAL EVENTS TO BE TAKEN FROM EXISTING BUDGET LINE ITEMS (I.E. THE BOTTOM LINE OF THE BUDGET REMAINS THE SAME) TO BE ALLOCATED AS FOLLOWS: $25,000 TO THE CORAL GABLES MUSEUM, $25,000 TO ACTOR’S PLAYHOUSE PRODUCTIONS, INC., AND THE REMAINING BALANCE OF $10,000 FOR CULTURAL FUNDING GRANTS WITH THE CAVEAT THAT THE AFOREMENTIONED TWO ORGANIZATIONS CAN APPLY THROUGH THE CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT BOARD FOR SAID FUNDS. A motion was made by Commissioner Quesada, seconded by Vice Mayor Kerdyk, Jr., that this matter be approved. The motion passed by the following vote.
