D.-1. 18-7309 A Resolution authorizing Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce to sell alcoholic beverages
at Fred B. Hartnett Ponce Circle Park on Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to
10:00 p.m., during the "Burgerliscious" event, to benefit the Coral Gables Community
Foundation, subject to Florida Department of Professional Regulation Requirements.
D.-2. 18-7359 A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Procurement Officer to award the
Parks, Recreation and Youth Center Master Plan contract to AECOM Technical
Services, Inc., the top-ranked proposer, in an estimated amount of $184,948.39, not to
exceed the budgeted available funds, pursuant to Section 2-763 of the Procurement Code
entitled “Contract Award” and Request for Proposals (RFP) 2018-003; should negotiations
fail with the top-ranked proposer, negotiations shall commence up to the third ranked
proposer until an agreement satisfactory to the City has been reached.
D.-3. 18-7354 A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Procurement Officer to award the IFB
contract for the Gymnastic Equipment to Spieth Anderson dba Spieth America, in an
amount not to exceed the budgeted available funds, pursuant to Invitation for Bids (IFB)
2018.005 and Section 2-763 of the Procurement Code entitled “Contract Award”.
D.-4. 18-7362 A Resolution authorizing the granting of a perpetual easement to the Florida Department

F. PUBLIC HEARINGS
All Individuals desiring to give testimony shall be sworn in. Presentations made to the
City Commission are subject to the City’s False Claims Ordinance, Ch. 39 of the City of
Coral Gables Code.
Anyone who wishes to address the City Commission on an item to be considered for
public hearing must fill out a Speaker Card and turn it in to the City Clerk. Speaker
Cards can be obtained on the credenza located outside the office of Commissioner Keon
and Commissioner Mena, during the day of the City Commission Meeting.

J. CITY MANAGER ITEMS
J.-1. 18-7353 A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Procurement Officer to authorize a
Cooperative contract with Genuine Parts Company d/b/a NAPA Auto Parts from the
National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA), to provide on-site vehicle and equipment parts
and supply services pursuant to Section 2-947 of the Procurement Code.
J.-2. 18-7361 A Resolution authorizing the Procurement Officer to secure a vendor for the replacement
of the inoperable elevators located in Parking Garage # 2 located at 220 Aragon Avenue,
in an amount not to exceed the available budget, pursuant to Section 2-501 of the City's
Procurement Code.
J.-3. 18-7348 A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Procurement Officer to extend the
Debris Management Services contract with AshBritt, Inc., (Primary) and Ceres
Environmental Services, Inc., (Secondary) pursuant to Section 2-764 of the Procurement
Code entitled “approval of change orders and contract modifications ”, on a
month-to-month basis, not to exceed six months, until the new RFP process is
completed, and new Professional Services Agreements are awarded, negotiated and
executed.
J.-4. 18-7347 A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Procurement Officer to award the
Disaster Debris Removal Services contract to the three (3) highest ranked
responsive-responsible proposers in rank order: Phillips and Jordan, Inc ., (Primary),
Ceres Environmental Services, Inc., (Secondary), and AshBritt, Inc., (Tertiary), pursuant
to section 2-763 of the Procurement Code entitled “Contract Award” and Request for
Proposals (RFP) 2018-009; further authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute
a Professional Services Agreement with each proposer for a period of three (3) years with
options to renew for two (2) additional two (2) year periods, exercisable at the option of
the City Manager; should negotiations fail with any of the three (3) highest ranked
responsive-responsible proposers, negotiations shall commence with the next most
responsive-responsible proposer (up to the fifth ranked proposer) until an Agreement
satisfactory to the city has been reached.

litigation styled City of Coral Gables v. Florida Power & Light Company, case no .
2017-026330-CA-01. This session may be attended by the following individuals: Mayor
Raul Valdes-Fauli, Commissioner Pat Keon, Commissioner Vince Lago, Commissioner
Michael Mena, City Manager Cathy Swanson-Rivenbark or Acting City Manager Peter
Iglesias, City Attorney Miriam Soler Ramos, Assistant City Attorney Stephanie
Throckmorton, Special Counsel Corali Lopez-Castro and Special Counsel Javier Lopez.
A certified court reporter will be present to ensure that the session is fully transcribed,
and the transcript will be made available to the public upon the conclusion of the
above-styled litigation. At the conclusion of the attorney -client session, the public
meeting will be reopened, and termination of the attorney -client session will be
announced.

Any person who acts as a lobbyist pursuant to the City of Coral Gables Ordinance No .
2006-11, must register with the City Clerk, prior to engaging in lobbying activities before
city staff, boards, committees and/or the City Commission. A copy of the Ordinance is
available in the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall.
Any person, or persons, wishing to appeal any decision made by the City Commission
with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, will require a verbatim
record of the proceeding upon which the appeal is based. Interested persons should,
therefore, take the necessary steps to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings
is made which contains the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
Any person making impertinent or slanderous remarks or who become boisterous while
addressing the Commission, shall be barred from further audience before the
Commission by the Chair, unless permission to continue or again address the
Commission is granted by the majority vote of the Commission Members present .
Clapping, applauding, heckling or verbal outbursts or any remarks in support or
opposition to a speaker shall be prohibited. Signs or placards shall not be permitted in
Commission Chambers.
Any person who needs assistance in another language in order to speak during the
public hearing or public comment portion of the meeting should contact the City ’s ADA
