D.-1. 18-7940 A Resolution authorizing the Rotary Club of Coral Gables to sell alcoholic beverages at
Fred B. Hartnett Ponce Circle Park on Sunday, February 24, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to
5:00 p.m., during the Rotary Club of Coral Gables "Chili-Cookoff" event to benefit the
Rotary Club of Coral Gables, subject to Florida Department of Professional Regulation
Requirements.
D.-2. 18-7939 A Resolution authorizing the Coral Gables Community Foundation to sell alcohol on
Merrick Way between Alhambra Plaza and Giralda Avenue on Saturday, October 20,

HVAC Services Citywide contract with Weathertrol Maintenance Corporation, pursuant to

be completed and a new contract is executed.

F. PUBLIC HEARINGS
All Individuals desiring to give testimony shall be sworn in. Presentations made to the
City Commission are subject to the City’s False Claims Ordinance, Ch. 39 of the City of
Coral Gables Code.
Anyone who wishes to address the City Commission on an item to be considered for
public hearing must fill out a Speaker Card and turn it in to the City Clerk. Speaker
Cards can be obtained on the credenza located outside the office of Commissioner Keon
and Commissioner Mena, during the day of the City Commission Meeting.

provisions regulating duplex standards related to setbacks, heights, and ground area

F.-6. 18-7945 An Ordinance of the City of Coral Gables, Florida, amending Chapter 74 -Traffic and
Vehicles of the City of Coral Gables Code in order to amend ordinances allowing use of
motorized scooters on certain city sidewalks; providing for repealer provision, severability
clause, codification, and providing for an effective date.
F.-7. 18-7955 An Ordinance approving the purchase and sale agreement with Cal Rosenbaum for the
purchase of the residential property located at 7000 Old Cutler Road, Coral Gables, FL
for purpose pf preserving landscaped open space and renovating the existing house for
use as a fire station to enhance fire rescue response time to the surrounding
neighborhood; providing for a repealer provision, severability clause and providing for an

litigation styled City of Coral Gables v. Florida Power and Light, Case No .
2017-026330-CA-01. This session may be attended by the following individuals: Mayor
Raul Valdes-Fauli, Commissioner Pat Keon, Commissioner Vince Lago, Commissioner
Michael Mena, City Manager Peter Iglesias, City Attorney Miriam Soler Ramos, Deputy
City Attorney Cristina M. Suarez, special counsel Corali Lopez -Castro, and special
counsel Javier Lopez. A certified Court Reporter will be present to ensure that the
session is fully transcribed, and the transcripts will be made available to the public upon
the conclusion of the above-stated litigation. At the conclusion of the attorney -client
session, the public meeting will be reopened, and termination of the attorney -client
session will be announced.

2006-11, must register with the City Clerk, prior to engaging in lobbying activities before
city staff, boards, committees and/or the City Commission. A copy of the Ordinance is
available in the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall.
Any person, or persons, wishing to appeal any decision made by the City Commission
with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, will require a verbatim
record of the proceeding upon which the appeal is based. Interested persons should,
therefore, take the necessary steps to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings
is made which contains the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
Any person making impertinent or slanderous remarks or who become boisterous while
addressing the Commission, shall be barred from further audience before the
Commission by the Chair, unless permission to continue or again address the
Commission is granted by the majority vote of the Commission Members present .
Clapping, applauding, heckling or verbal outbursts or any remarks in support or
opposition to a speaker shall be prohibited. Signs or placards shall not be permitted in
Commission Chambers.
