Parking Advisory Board Parking Advisory Board Meeting Minutes October 29, 2015 CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Board Member Thomson,Board Member Hinterkopf,Board Member Magdaleno and Board Member Rua Absent: 1 - Board Member Cepero APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES The August 27, 2015 meeting minutes were not available for review. Welcome of New Parking Advisory Board Member The Board welcomed Mr. Eddie Snow and discussed several items of interest including the painting of Garages, the Miracle Mile Streetscape project and Centralized Valet. RFP for Garage Redevelopment Parking Advisory Board was informed that five proposals for redevelopment of the Garage 1 and Garage 4 properties were submitted in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the City. The procurement review process was discussed including: Procurement’s request for a Parking Advisory Board member to serve on the initial review committee, the responsibilities of the selected board member and conflict of interest. After discussion of the process and the importance of replacing these dated facilities, Ms. Rua nominated Ms. Hinterkopf to serve as the Parking Advisory Board representative to the committee reviewing the submissions to the City’s RFP. The nomination of Ms. Hinterkopf was seconded by Mr. Magaleno and the Board voted unanimously to appoint Ms. Hinterkopf to serve as the Board representative to review the redevelopment proposals for Garage 1 and Garage 4.
