Minutes Board of Adjustment Meeting August 16, 2010 Item #1: Meeting called to order 6:00 PM Item #2: Member present: Szcech, Snyder, Shannon and Rice. Absent: Wells Others present: Jim Kessler, Building and Zoning Official, and Dee Marshek Administrative Assistant. Item #3: Minutes from July 19, 2010 meeting approved. Motion to approve by: Rice 2nd by: Szcech Motion Carried: 4-0 Item #4: Public Hearing –Appeal withdrawn Item #5: Public Hearing on request by Pond’s Edge Condominiums for a Conditional Use permit for the placement of a permanent development sign @ 1801-1821 12th Ave. Public Hearing opened: Public Hearing closed: Kessler and members discuss the City Zoning Code 165.36 (F) Permanent Development Signs and the location of this proposed permanent signage. Members agreed that permanent signage shall met all requirements; be less than 40 sq. ft., be placed outside the traffic visibility zone, and a planting, sign foundation, and a detailed maintenance plan be proved before final permitting is issued.
