Meeting called to order by Tai Rogersat 5:02 pm 3. Review Minutes: a. Review Notes Mar 6, 2023 - approved 4. Old Business: a. Skatepark Mural - Creighton and Desiree i. open house meeting - Desiree Hendersonreached out to all the schools 1. 1 student showed up from SWOS 2. Desiree Hendersongoing to SWOS to meet with them 3. desiree to meet with Young Artist’s Association at MCHS ii. delay in timeline - looking like July for mural iii. wants to organize network of students for service hour opportunity for HS and to help deter graffiti for at least a year in the skate park iv. Sam to have Dylan Piercefollow up with v. underground art challenge proposed by Matt Josef vi. wants to make it more of a community event vii. met with LOR - looking b. Independent study credit? ii. gifts issue in relation to offering a scholarship because of us being a governmental entity - Rachael to follow up iii. could maybe incentivize by giving school credit? d. Philanthropy Days, Durango, June 7-9, 2023 1. by Community Resource Center, getting funders to rural communities. Colorado is split into 4 quadrants and this year it is in the SW. 2. Desiree Hendersonindicates you don’t have to go to all three days, can pick and choose the days you want 3.
