City of Cortland - Historic/Architectural Board Historic and/or Architectural Advisory Board City of Cortland August 13th, 2019 A special meeting of the Historic and/or Architectural Review Board was held on Tuesday, August 13th, 2019, at 25 Court St, Mayor’s Conference Room at 8:00 am. Present: Chairman Linda Kline, Commissioners Richard Stock, Dan Dineen, Chris Barnes, and Elizabeth Wavle-Brown Excused: Commissioner Karina Murphy, Pam Abbott Staff Present: Confidential Secretary Devon Rainbow, ZEO Bob Rhea Minutes of July 9, 2019: Motion by: Comm. Dineen Seconded by: Comm. Barnes Approved: Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Item #1 – 103 Main St. (Griffin) - Signage  Modifications to Facade Going to be repainting the façade with new paint colors and removing awnings. The Woody’s sign will be 4’’X6”, Public House will be 9 ½” X 9”, and 103 will be 4”X8”. The awnings are going to be removed and not replaced. They are installing 4 tubular lights with metal bars to the right and left sides of the two entry doors. The existing gooseneck lighting will remain. Looking to add grid in the windows. Motion to approve as proposed including the grid work in the windows. Motion by: Comm. Dineen Seconded by: Comm. Stock Approved: Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 New Business/Old Business: Welcomed Liz as a new member. Liz has some projects that she is working on. One of the projects is gathering materials for the City. Minutes of August 13, 2019 meeting  City of Cortland - Historic/Architectural Board 40-42 Main St – Downtown Partnership- been sitting on this a long time.
