New Business/Old Business:
70 Tompkins St. has a back entrance/porch area and they would like to put up an entry wall and a door
to enclose it to help with noise. They will use the same wood shingles that exist on the body of the
house and paint the area to match the house. The commission agreed that this was a maintenance issue
and it did not need to come in front of the board.

89 Main St. has a new business that has been contacted. He has moved locations and has been in front
of the board in the past. He will be submitting his proposal for August meeting.
39 Tompkins St. has to replace the front porch as it has become unsafe. There are no changes to the
porch and will be as it was with the same colors and design. The owner would like to replace the
windows as well and they too will be the same as they were. They would also like to re-roof the front
and back porches using the same roof tile they used on the main roof that was approved by the Historic
Commission. The commission agreed that this is a maintenance issue and did not need to come before
the board.
DP Dough signage is going to be the same as the old business sign but with a new name. It will be free
floating individual letters in black placed on the sign board above the business. Mr. Scanlan & Linda
spoke regarding process and with the future tenants, he now knows where to direct them.
The murals that have been mentioned to go on Main Street need to come before Historic Commission.
