Other Business a. Discussion regarding FY 24-25 Budget A motion was made by Mayor Pro-tem Rob Harrison, seconded by Council Member Scot Shanks, to use financing as funding for the new Fire Station 2. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Council Member Art Gernt, Council Member Scot Shanks, Council Member Mike Turner, Mayor Pro-tem Rob Harrison and Mayor R.J. Crawford A motion was made by Council Member Scot Shanks to increase water and sewer for inside City customers by 7% which automatically increases utility companies and no increase for outside City customers. The motion failed for lack of second. A motion was made by Mayor R.J. Crawford, seconded by Mayor Pro-tem Rob Harrison, to increase water and sewer rates by 7% for all customers. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Council Member Art Gernt, Council Member Scot Shanks, Mayor Pro-tem Rob Harrison and Mayor R.J. Crawford Nay: 1- Council Member Mike Turner 7.
