RICHTER PARK AUTHORITY SPECIAL MEETING
Richter Park Authority Office, September 7, 2022
In compliance with Connecticut General Statute § 1-225, these minutes are being provided for
informational purposes and are subject to approval of the Richter Park Authority Board of
Directors at its next regular meeting.
A Richter Park Authority Special Meeting was held on September 7, 2022 for the
purpose of election of new officers, and discussing the employee health insurance
plan renewal.
The special meeting was called to order by Chairman Pete Siecienski at 5:35PM.
Present were: Pete Siecienski, John Priola, George Radachowsky, Leroy Diggs,
Bob Eberhard, Al Mead and Dave Lajoie.
Mr. Diggs reviewed employee health insurance options and noted that the
member utilizing the family plan was dropping off of the insurance and will be
covered by another family member’s insurance. The Committee analyzed the
choices and recommended that we stay with Oxford Healthcare. There is a cost
savings this year due to the family plan member’s drop off. Plan details are on file
for review. Mr. Mead made a motion to accept the Committee’s recommendation
for Oxford Healthcare. Mr. Priola seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
The Chairman thanked Mr. Diggs and the Committee for their efforts and
diligence.
The meeting was turned over for the purpose of elections to Nominating
Committee Chairman Mr. Diggs. Mr. Diggs reported that the Committee reached
out to each member of the RPA Board to obtain input and/or desire for leadership
positions.
The recommended slate of officers for the September 2022 to September 2023
Richter Park Authority was as follows:
Chairman: Pete Siecienski
Vice Chair: George Radachowsky
Treasurer: John Priola
Secretary: Al Mead
Mr. Mead made a motion to accept the slate as proposed by the Nominating
Committee. Mr. Eberhard seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
Mr. Mead made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Lajoie seconded. Meeting adjourned at
6:02 PM.
