meeting. Mr. Diggs seconded. Motion passed.

Arts Association
The performance season starts on Sunday with a rock ‘n roll show. The
following week there will be a pianist from the Ukraine. The Annual Spring Member
Art Show will take place in April as well.
The RAA is buying 2-3 advertising spots per week on WNNR Radio for general
advertising and will have some PSAs, if possible. Also, they are happy to hear about
work on the Richter House going out to bid.
Musicals at Richter
Casting and auditions have begun for the 2023 season. Tech weekend will
NOT be on the weekend of the Danbury Amateur this year. They applied to the
Woodward Foundation for a grant and received $50,000! An upcoming Eagle Scout
project is a new Cast Board for MAR.
Fairy Tale Theater is starting up again this year, possibly at Jesse Lee Church
in Ridgefield, most Saturdays in July.
MPC-Richter House
The next meeting will be in early May.
FORe
The Farrington Trail sign needs to be repaired. Brick sales are ongoing. The
account has a balance of over $6,300. FORe is looking for Danbury Amateur
sponsors. There was a brief discussion about incentives to join FORe. The annual
meeting will be on May 22, 2023 at the Richter House for elections.
Business Manager’s Report
A 2023 update on booked outings was given. Pass and Resident ID sales are
still strong.
Head Golf Professional
March was good with 988 paid rounds in 10 days. The first newsletter was sent
in April and we received good feedback. The pie chart reporting rounds will start at
the next RPA meeting. We have two commitments so far for sponsorship renewal.
April rounds are good so far. Kudos to Rob and his staff, the course is in great
shape.
Grounds and Greens
The worry is about the soil more than the color of the grass. We are band-
aiding the irrigation system. The pumps and motors are fine; the control panel is the
problem.
On very hot days, we will have mini bottles of water available at two places on
the course, along with our recycling bins. This will be discussed in the May
newsletter.
Financial report
The cash balance and cash flow show that we should be in a good place. Mr.
Mead made a motion to accept the report and place it on file for audit. Mr. Eberhard
seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
Finance Committee Report
There has been $87K and $66K moved to the Capital account to cover building
of the walls on #8 and #12 and the Pro Shop renovations.
Old business
Mr. Siecienski and Mr. Radachowsky met at City Hall recently to follow up on
non-answers and delays in the Richter House project.
The clock project is moving forward. The $26K cost is coming from a $25K
donation to the City from FuelCell.
They also talked about grants and money that is out there and available.
Mr. Siecienski and Mr. Dorsch met with Jennings today about replacing the
broken boiler at the Richter House. Mr. Siecienski will get them in touch with the
City.
New business
None.
Chairman’s Comments/Report
The golf course has never looked so good on Opening Day! Kudos!
Executive Session
None.
Mr. Mead made a motion to adjourn at 7:23 pm. Mr. Eberhard seconded. Motion
passed unanimously.
