DRAFT TARRYWILE PARK AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING September 20, 2022 CALL TO ORDER: On September 20, 2022 at 6:30 p.m., the regular meeting of the Tarrywile Park Authority, was called to order by Chairman M. Marcus. ATTENDANCE: Board Members Present: M. Marcus, E. Prybylski, W. Platz, D. Manacek, J. Harner, M. Repole, B. Talarico, & N. Wakeham Board Members Absent: N/A Park Staff: Due to a family emergency B. Petro was not in attendance Guests: K. Miville & A. Gartner Public Speaking: Kathy Miville and Andrea Gartner addressed the Board concerning the current progress and steps that the Norwalk River Valley Trail are working on. AGENDA: 1. A. Chairman’s Report: M. Marcus said that any items will be covered under the agenda. B. Executive Director’s Report: B. Petro submitted a detailed Directors Report covering items the staff are currently working on. 2. Minutes: A motion was made by W. Platz to approve the minutes of the August 16, 2022 meeting. E. Prybylski seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 3. Financial Items: A. Financial Reports – August 2022: A motion was made by D. Manacek to approve the financial reports. J. Harner seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 4. Old Business: A. Fundraising: In the coming months the administrative staff will be working on a campaign in addition to other revenue sources. Discussion followed. . B. Staff Reviews: Chairman Marcus reported that all staff members have received reviews. In regards to the Executive Director, Chairman Marcus & Vice Chair Repole held the review and will report back to the Board at the next meeting. 5. New Business: N/A 6. Other Business: The Board discussed the NRVT report. Concerns include the creation or need for a new trail vs. using existing Tarrywile trails and whether horses will be allowed on the trail or an additional trail will be created to allow horses.
