TOWN  OF  DANE  ANNUAL  MEETING   April  20,  2021   6:30  PM   Electors  Attendance:  Barb  Koenig,  Kendra  Tutsch,  Gordon  Ballweg   Board:  Dave  Koenig,  George  Dorn,  Rich  Haag;;  Treasurer-­  Jana  Nolden  &  Clerk  Angie-­  Volkman   1.   Call  meeting  to  order-­meeting  called  to  order  at  6:30pm   2.   Minutes  from  May  19,  2020  Annual  Town  Meeting-­Angie  read  minutes  from  Apr  20,  2020  annual  meeting  to   where  we  had  to  set  a  reschedule  date  due  to  COVID-­19  restrictions.    Angie  read  minutes  from  rescheduled   Annual  Meeting  held  on  5/19/2020-­George  made  a  motion  to  accept  minutes  as  read,  Rich  seconded  the   motion,  motion  carried.   3.   Treasurer’s  report-­Rich  made  a  motion  to  accept  the  Treasurer  Report  2020  presented/read,  George   seconded  the  motion,  motion  carried.   4.   Audit  Report  from  2020-­Kendra  presented.    Audit  Committee  met  4/19/2021  to  review  the  2020  records.     Audit  Committee  found  everything  to  be  in  order  with  no  unexplained  discrepancies  and  have  approved  the   summary  of  monthly  totals  and  balances  for  2020.  Rich  made  a  motion  to  accept  the  Audit  Committee   Report  as  read/presented,  George  seconded  the  motion,  motion  carried.   5.   EMS  Report-­Waunakee  (53597)  in-­person  for  meetings,  next  year  the  3-­year  contract  is  up  with  Lodi   (53555).   6.   Fire  District  Report-­quite  year,  no  big  expenses,  major  expense  jaws  of  like  ~  $30K,  few  truck  expenses,   went  over  fire  district  agreement  about  2  years  –  continuing  discussions.   7.   Elections  Report-­2  elections  only  for  2021,  good  turnout  in  April  31%.  2022  should  have  3  or  4  elections  –   no  state  supreme  court  seat,  judges/local  judges  and  school  boards  for  2022,  Aug  &  Nov  should  be  a  high   turnout.   8.   Public  Works  Report-­Rich  and  George  looked  at  the  roads,  a  lot  of  seal  coating  needs  to  be  done.    Splitting   the  township  into  3  parts,  1  part  for  Dave,  1  part  for  Rich  and  1  part  for  George.    Salt  Shed  built,  just  needs   to  be  stained.   th th 9.   Recycling  Center  –  Addtl  Hours  for  Summer:  May  5  -­Sept  29  5-­6:30pm  (Wednesday’s  Nights)-­May  Clean   Up  (5/1/2021  8-­12pm),  looks  clean  at  site.     10.   2021  Town  of  Dane  Re-­Evaluation-­need  to  set  a  date  before  6/9/2021  in  May’s  meeting  to  hold  a  BOR  to  set   the  OP  and  BOR  dates  for  after  the  revaluation  is  complete.   11.   Any  other  business-­confirming  Lodi  Library  is  getting  donation.    Set  2022  Annual  Meeting  –  4/19/22   confirmed.   12.   Adjourn-­Kendra  made  a  motion  at  6:55pm  to  adjourn  the  meeting,  Rich  seconded  the  motion,  motion   carried.   th Minutes  have  not  been  approved  yet,  minutes  will  be  read  at  April  19  2022  Annual  Meeting   Angie  Volkman  –  Town  of  Dane  Clerk   Posted:Town  Website  (www.townofdane.org)
