TOWN  of  DANE-­‐MONTHLY  BOARD  MEETING   May  3,  2021  @  6:30pm   Dane  Town  Hall-­‐213  W  Main  St.  Dane  WI    53529   Present:  Kendra  Tutsch  (resident),  Jana  Nolden  (Treasurer)  Angie  Volkman  (Clerk)   1.   Call  meeting  to  order-­‐Meeting  was  called  to  order  @  6:30pm.   2.   Agenda  Confirmation-­‐agenda  was  confirmed  with  no  changes.   3.   Minutes  from  previous  meeting  -­‐April  5,  2021.    Rich  made  a  motion  to  approve  the  4/5/2021   board  meeting  minutes  as  presented,  George  second  the  motion.  Motion  carried.   4.   Treasurer’s  report  will  be  presented-­‐April  2021  financial  report  was  presented.    George  made  a   motion  to  accept  the  financial  report  for  April  2021  as  presented  and  read,  Rich  seconded  the   motion.    Motion  carried.     5.   Public  Input-­‐No  Action-­‐N/A   6.   Public  Works  Report:    Sealcoat  Roads-­‐Bowman  Rd,  Krutchen  Rd  and  Lee  Rd  (west).    Dave   presented  quotes.    George  made  a  motion  to  use  Scott  Construction  to  double  seal  coat   Bowman  Rd  and  single  seal  coat  Krutchen  Rd,  Rich  seconded  the  motion.    Motion  carried.       7.   Discussion  for  people  walking  or  bicycling  on  town  roads  to  wear  reflective  clothing-­‐put  a   reminder/note  on  our  website  regarding  wearing  reflective  clothing  well  walking.   8.   Discussion  on  charging  property  owners  for  fallen  trees  on  town  right-­‐of-­‐ways  –  put  FAQ  on   website   9.   Discussion  of  planting  crops  to  close  to  roads-­‐discussion.    No  action  at  this  point.     10.  Recycling  Committee  Report:      Spring  clean-­‐up  went  well.    Tim’s  Trucking  does  know  about  the   township  transfer  site  being  open  on  Wednesdays.   11.  Wednesdays:    May  5,  2021-­‐September  29,2021  from  5:00pm-­‐6:30pm         12.  Fire  District  Report-­‐open  meeting,  paid  bills.    Vienna  still  hasn’t  gotten  to  the  bi-­‐laws  (1960   agreement).         13.  EMS  Report-­‐Waunakee  talked  about  a  few  things,  didn’t  have  enough  for  a  quorum  so  no   actions.   14.  Open  Book  –  Set  Possible  Dates.    Angie  talked  to  Steve  at  Equity  Appraisals  and  we  feel  that  with   COVID  and  families  being  home  for  school  and  parents  working  from  home  that  Equity  should   sent  out  a  letter  letting  them  know  that  Steve  and  his  Equity  partner  will  be  at  each  residence   house  for  the  assessment.       15.  Board  of  Review  –  BOR  will  meet  6/7  at  6:30  to  open  meeting  to  adjourn  meeting  to  a  later  date   once  the  assessment  roll  is  finished  in  Fall.   16.  Correspondence  to  be  presented-­‐No  Action  –  None  presented   17.  Bills  to  be  paid  –  Rich  made  a  motion  to  pay  the  township  bills,  George  seconded  the  motion.     Motion  carried.   18.  Set  next  meeting  date-­‐June  7,  2021  –  confirmed.     19.  Present:  Dave,  Rich  and  George.    Rich  made  a  motion  to  go  into  closed  session  at  7:15pm,   George  seconded  the  motion.  Motion  carried.    20.  Convene to Closed Session pursuant to WI State Statutes 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility regarding Town of Dane Personnel. Roll Call 21.  Reconvene to Open Session and take action if necessary. Roll Call-Dave, Rich and George. Rich made a motion to come out of closed session, George seconded the motion. Motion carried at 7:45pm. 22.  Adjourn-­‐Dave  made  a  motion  at  7:55pm  to  adjourn  the  meeting,  George  seconded  the  motion.     Motion  carried.   23.  Angie  Volkman   24.  Town  of  Dane  Clerk
