7/11/2022 Minutes
Attendance: Dave Koenig (Chair), George Dorn (Supervisor 1), and Rich Haag (Supervisor 2)
Present: Angie Volkman (Clerk) Kendra Tutsch (resident), Tom Lange (resident), Dave Hellenbrand (resident)
Absent: Jana Nolden (Treasurer)

The following agenda will be followed:
1. Call meeting to order - meeting called to order by Koenig at 6:38pm.
2. Agenda Confirmation- Agenda Confirmed.
3. Minutes from previous meeting - April 2022 - Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve
minutes for April 2022 meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
4. Treasurer's report will be presented - Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve treasurer
report as presented and read. Motion carried unanimously.
5. Public Input, No Action – Tom Lange discussed with the board TDR requirements. Dave
Hellenbrand asked about a CSM for a rezone and Dave Koenig will call the County o Tues and
discuss actions after conversation with the county. No Actions were taken during public input.
6. Recycling Committee Report: The transfer site is looking clean. Dave and Angie filled in some
open Wednesday dates on the volunteer sign-up sheet. Transfer Site is open Wednesdays 5-6:30
starting 5/11-9/28/2022. The board may need to discuss discontinuing Wednesday nights in the
future if we are unable to get help covering then 5-630pm.
7. Fire District Report. Not much to reports besides paid bills and that the Chief reported that the
picnic went well with no problems reported.
8. EMS Report – Waunakee EMS had there meeting on 6/9/2022 and at that meeting approved
minutes along with expenditure statement. Waunakee is in the process of getting a 3rd
ambulance and staffing that ambulance.
9. Election Update. Chief of Elections Kendra reported that we have plenty of poll workers for the
August Election of which is needed since the ballot is detailed and double-sided. Kendra also
reported that in-person absentee voting starts end of July and goes through Friday Aug 5th.
10. Public Works Report: Dave reported that tires are suppose to be on the tractor. Dave also
looked into the Handbook regarding bereavement.
11. Fireworks Ordinance. Motion to approved fireworks ordinance by Koenig, second by Haag.
Motion carried unanimously.
12. Noise Enforcement Ordinance. Discussion and decided to table the ordinance.
13. Holding Tank permit Application. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approved holding tank
permit. Motion carried unanimously.
14. Amendment to participate in Dane County Urban County Consortium for Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership (HOME) Programs. Motion
by Koenig, second by Dorn to not approve amendment to participate in Dane County Urban
County Consortium. Motion carried unanimously.
15. Solar Panels & Solar Farms. Nothing to report as this time.
16. Correspondence. N/A
17. Bills to be paid. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to pay the bills. Motion carried unanimously.
18. Set next meeting date. Confirmed 8/8/2022 @630pm.
19. Adjourn. - Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to adjourn meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
