8/8/2022 Minutes 1. Call meeting to order. The Town of Dane chair called the 8/8/2022 meeting to order at 6:30pm. 2. Agenda Confirmation. The board removed #11 as it was on the agenda twice and #15 as it was discussed at the July meeting. 3. Minutes from previous meeting 7/11/2022. Motion made by Rich, second by George to approve the July minutes. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Treasurer’s report will be presented. Motion by George, second by Rich to approve the treasurer report as presented and ready. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Public Input-None 6. Recycling Committee Report. Rich reported that the transfer site looks clean. We did have a Waunakee resident attempt to use the Town of Dane transfer site with construction materials, but Larry let them know that that was unacceptable. 9/28/2022 is that last Wednesday that the transfer site will be open for 2022 and will resume Wednesdays in May of 2023. 7. Fire District Report. George reported that nothing new to report at the fire district meeting. At the meeting, they paid the bills and the chief hasn’t received the expenses from the picnic but is satisfied with the turn out. 8. EMS Report. Rich reported that Waunakee is still looking for the 3rd ambulance and that the number of calls are going up and trying to get more volunteers. 9. Election Update. Kendra, the Town of Dane chief of elections, reported that the town is ready for the Aug election. Kendra did mention that we are down 1 worker but we are still staffed adequately. We did have an issue with modeming the public test so Kendra had to come back the next day and work with Verizon and got the results to go through. 10. Public Works Report. Dave reported that the new tires are on the tractor and that the guys are doing a good job and have had compliments also from residents. 11. Rural Insurance-2023 recommendations. N/A 12. Fireworks Ordinance. Motion by George, second by Rich to add $75.00 fee charge for the firework permit. Motion carried unanimously. 13. Noise Ordinance. Dave reported that Dane County has an ordinance. Table this topic till next meeting. 14. Signs for elections. Kendra reported that due to our driveway and the hill going out of town that the election workers would like 2 slow down signs for events and elections. Motion by Rich, second by George for the 2 signs for events and elections. Motion carried unanimously. 15. Holding Tank permit Authorization-N/A 16. Stoltenberg Rezone. Motion by George, second by Rich to approve the Stoltenberg rezone CSM. Motion carried unanimously. 17. CSM Lawrenz Property. Motion by George, second by Rich to approve the Lawrenz CSM. Motion carried unanimously. 18. Allan Ballweg Driveway permit. Motion by Rich, second by George to approve Ballweg driveway permit. Motion carried unanimously. 19. Lodi Library Fund. Motion by George, second by Rich to donate Town of Dane annual $750 to the Lodi Library. Motion carried unanimously. 20. Insurance Review. Motion by Rich, second by George to approve insurance recommendations to the Town of Dane policies. Motion carried unanimously. 21. Solar panels and Solar Farms. Dave would like to extent an invite to Keith Ripp to come to the Town of Dane board meeting and speak on Solar panels.  22. Correspondence to be presented. N/A 23. Bills to be paid. Motion by Rich, second by George to pay the bills. Motion carried unanimously. 24. Set next meeting date-September 12, 2022 at 6:30 at Dane Town Hall. Confirmed and will be added to website. 25.
