09/12/2022 Town of Dane Board Minutes Board Present: Dave Koenig (Chair), George Dorn (Supervisor 1), & Rich Hagg (Supervisor 2) Present: Angie Volkman (Clerk) Absent: Jana Nolden (Treasurer), Gordon Ballweg (resident), Jim and Aubrey Prieve (resident) 1. Call meeting to order. The Sept Town of Dane board meeting was called to order @630pnm by Dave Koenig. 2. Agenda Confirmation. The Town Board confirmed the agenda, no changes. 3. Minutes from previous meeting August 8, 2022. Motion by Rich, second by George to approve board minutes from Aug 8th, 2022, meeting. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Treasurer’s report will be presented. Motion by George, second by Rich to approved Treasurer report as presented and read. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Public Input-None 6. Recycling Committee Report. Rich reported that Wednesdays are going well and having good attendance. The last Wednesday will be 9/28/2022. Discussed the possibility of a window tag to get into the transfer site and will continue to discuss and look into if it will work for the Town of Dane. Also discussed getting new laminated signs for the kiosk since the ones out at the site are old and unreadable to help residents with hours and what is allowed to be put into trash & recyclables. 7. Fire District Report. George report that not too much was discussed and or happened at the last fire district meeting besides paying the bills and also compared the 2023 budget to the 2022 and should be able to meet the budget presented. 8. EMS Report. Rich reported that Waunakee is working on getting a security system installed, looked at the budget for next year, and that they don’t have the 2nd ambulance staffed fulltime. Rich also reported that Waunakee responded to 18 Town calls last month. Nothing to report at this time for Lodi EMS. 9. Election Update. Kendra reported that recount went well and nothing was found in error for procedures followed with the Aug election. Kendra also reported that we have a full crew for the Nov election and that absentee ballots are to be mailed out end of the month. 10. Public Works Report: Sealcoating. Need to hold a special meeting to discuss the proposals. Discussed that we need to sealcoat Fellows Rd, Peterzborn Rd, Lodi Spring-field Rd, Hahn Rd and Lavina Rd. Special Meeting will be held Monday 9/19/2022 @630pm to discuss sealcoating project. 11. Diane Karls Estate Property CSM. Motion by George, second by Dave to approve the CSM with a condition that the shed in the Town of Danes right-of-way can not be rebuilt or repaired. Motion carried unanimously. 12. Set Budget Meeting Date. 10/17/2022 @630pm. 13. ADP Payroll System. Motion by Rich, second by George to use ADP Payroll Systems to process Town of Dane’s payroll on a bi-weekly basis. Motion carried unanimously. 14. Solar panels and Solar Farms. Nothing. 15. Correspondence to be presented Nothing. 16. Bills to be paid. Motion by Rich, second by George to approve bills. Motion carried unanimously. 17. Set next meeting date-October 10th, 2022, at 6:30 at Dane Town Hall. 18. Adjourn-Motion by George, second by Rich to adjourn meeting at 7:55pm.
