Town of Dane Minutes 2/6/2023 Attendance: Dave Koenig (Town of Dane Chair), George Dorn (Town of Dane Supervisor I), Rich Haag (Town of Dane Supervisor II), Angie Volkman (Town of Dane Clerk) 1. Call meeting to order. Meeting was called to order by David Koenig at 6:30pm. 2. Agenda Confirmation. Agenda confirmed with no changes. 3. Minutes from previous meeting January 2, 2023. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve minutes from 1/2/2023. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Treasurer’s report will be presented. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve the treasurer’s report as presented and read. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Public Input-None 6. Public Works Report: Tires for International Snowplow, Box spreader for ton truck. Koenig reported that we will wait on chains for the tires for the International Snowplow. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve the V-Box Spreader purchase for $6833.00. Motion carried unanimously. 7. Recycling Committee Report. Haag reported things are well at the transfer site and Kendra is working on signs to get up that read “residents ONLY.: 8. Fire District Report. Dorn reported that the fire dept is looking into prices for new radios but for now will continue to use what we have. Dorn also reported that the fire dept. paid bills. 9. EMS Report. Haag reported that Waunakee EMS met on 1/12/23 and approved minutes and expenditure statement and continuing to work on communications to get everyone on the same page. Haag reported that Lodi EMS met on 1/17/23 and that staff is currently at 27 with 10 of them in training and that they are continuing to work on building maintenance. 10. Election Update. Tutsch reported that the Spring Primary Election is 2/21/2023 and that we don’t expect more than 20-30% turnout and that we have 2 ballots for this Election. Tutsch also reported that in-person absentee (IPA) started 2/7/2023. 11. Karls rezone on Gluth Rd. No one present for this item so tabling. 12. Sean Gallagher rezone on Black Hill Rd. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to approve the rezone on Bill Hill Rd. Motion carried unanimously. 13. Doug and Victoria Statz rezone and CSM on Highway 113. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to approve the rezone and CSM on High 113. Motion carried unanimously. 14. Conditional Use Permit (CUP) Tri-County Paving for Joe and Diane Ripp on Bonetti Rd, No Action Set Public Hearing Date. Item is being tabled until next meeting. 15. Solicitation permits. Motion by Haag, second by Dorn to table this for a month. Motion carried unanimously. 16. Correspondence to be presented No Action. None 17. Bills to be paid. Motion by Dorn, second by Haag to pay the bills. Motion carried unanimously. 18. Set next meeting date March 6, 2023. Confirmed 3/6/2023. 19. 3 Adjourn.
