03/03/2025 Minutes Attendance: Craig Schmelzer, Keith Ripp Roth, and Kendra Tutsch (all residents) Board Members: Dave Koenig, George Dorn & Rich Haag Jana Nolden – Treasurer, Angie Volkman-Clerk 1. Call meeting to order. Dave Koenig, Town Chair, called the meeting to order at 6:00pm. 2. Agenda Confirmation. Dave Koenig confirmed there are no changes to the agenda. 3. Minutes from the previous meeting: February 3, 2025. Motion by Rich Haag, second by Dave Koenig to approve the minutes from the meeting held on 2/3/2024. Motion carried unanimously. 4. Treasurer’s report will be presented. Motion by George Dorn, second by Rich Haag to approve the treasurer's report as presented and read. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Public Input-No Action. Kendra Tutsch expressed her gratitude to Dave Koenig and Craig Schmelzer for painting the bathrooms, making them more inviting. Keith Ripp addressed the Board about the Right-of-Way ordinance he received from the Town of Dane. 6. Public Works Report. Dave Koenig noted that he didn’t have much to report, as we wait for either spring or snow. 7. Recycling Committee Report. Rich Haag had little additional information to report on the Recycling/Transfer Site. He also mentioned that the site looks great, with the correct dumpsters being used for garage and recycling. 8. Fire District Report. Dave Koenig reported that there was no Fire District meeting as they did not have a quorum, bills were paid. 9. EMS Report. Rich Haag mentioned that Waunakee EMS meeting was held on 2/25/25. A presentation was discussed with options while working with Middleton. Discussed the possibly they money that may need to be spent to get a study done. Waunakee also hired a new paramedic along with looking at a new insurance carrier and still working with the billing companies. Lodi did not have a meeting but the possibly of 3/10/25 has been discussed. 10. Election Updates. Kendra Tutsch reported that April will have 3 different ballots as the Town is withing 3 school districts. Absentee ballots go out 3/11/25 and we are expecting a high turnout. The Public Test will be 3/26/25 at 10am along with training also being done. Kendra Tutsch requested that we investigate that we put more gravel/stones in the parking because when it rains is causes a mess outside and inside the Town Hall and mentioned possibly getting a quote for blacktop for the future. 11. Audit for 2024: Appoint Lynda Tanner to the Audit Committee for a 3-year term; 2025-2027. Motion by Rich Haag, second by George to appoint Lynda Tanner to the 2025-2027 audit committee for a 3-year term. Motion carried unanimously. 12. Board of Review Certification. Both Dave Koenig and Rich Haag attended the WTA District meeting in February where they also received Board of Review training. 13. Board of Review and Open Book Dates. Angie emailed Steve at Equity Appraisal and has not heard back with dates. Should have dates and times to report back to the Board for the April meeting or the Annual Meeting to report back on. 14. Annual Meeting April 15, 2025. Confirmed 4/15/2025 at 6pm. 15. Tractor update: New Holland repairs or replace. Motion by Dave Koeing, second by Rich Haag to purchase New Holland with Statz with priced reduction or go with Hennesssey Implement bid. Motion carried unanimously. 16. Culvert and Ditch projects for 2025. Dave Koenig noted that we did receive a quote from Clemens Excavating but is waiting on others to come through. 17. Tree projects for 2025. Discussed the tree projects for 2025 and need to allot $20,000 from budget for tree removal. 18. Correspondence to be presented None 19. Bills to be paid. Motion by Rich Haag, second by Geroge Dorn to pay the bills. Motion carried unanimously. 20. Set next meeting date: 4/3/2025 at 6pm 21. Adjourn. Motion by Dave Koenig, second by Rich Haag to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting was adjourned at 7:10pm Angie Volkman-Town Clerk
