Those interested in volunteering should contact the clerk’s office. Seconded by Trustee Tracy. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. • Rally ‘Round the Valley request to close parking lot September 5th (rain date September 6th) ➢ Motion made by Trustee Tracy to approve request from Rally ‘Round the Valley to close the parking lot on September 5th. Seconded by Trustee Specchio. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: • Organizational Meeting Minutes approval- Public Participation ➢ Motion made by Trustee Specchio to approve the public participation policy. Seconded by Trustee Tracy. Motion carried 5-0. • Organizational Meeting Minutes approval- Special Meeting notification ➢ Motion made by Trustee Specchio to approve the special meeting notification section of the organizational meeting. NEW BUSINESS: • Selection of Summer Recreation Program ➢ Motion made by Trustee Specchio to approve the selection of the Dansville Community Center to hold the Summer Recreation Program. Seconded by Trustee Wiedrick. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. • Liaison change- Code Enforcement – Trustee Specchio • Discuss and vote on the hiring of two Motor Equipment Operators effective June 1. ➢ Motion made by Trustee Tracy to approve the promotion of Jason Cook from Laborer to Motor Equipment Operator. Seconded by Trustee Specchio. Motion carried 4-1. ➢ Motion made by Trustee Tracy to hire Ethan Dieter as a Motor Equipment Operator. Seconded by Trustee Specchio. Motion carried 3-2. • Approve records destruction ➢ Motion made by Trustee Specchio to approve the records destruction. Seconded by Trustee Wiedrick. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. 2  • Discuss and vote on due to Water Fund from Sewer Fund - $240,120.00 ➢ Motion made by Trustee Specchio to pay back to due to Water Fund from Sewer fund in the amount of $240,120.00. Seconded by Trustee Tracy. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. • Discuss and approve peddlers permit application from TNT Fireworks and Sidney Maide ➢ Motion made by Trustee Tracy to approve the peddlers permit application from TNT Fireworks. Seconded by Trustee Wiedrick. Motion carried 4-1. ➢ Motion made by Trustee Kathy to deny the peddlers permit for Sidney Maide. Seconded by Trustee Tracy. Motion carried 5-0. • Discuss Department Head Meeting ➢ Special meeting with Department Heads to be held on June 10 at 3 p.m. COMMITTEE REPORTS Budget, Finance & Audit: Trustee Specchio • Approve payment of bills • Abstract 12 General Paid checks: $51,273.62 Audited Checks in the amount of $181,183.18 Water Paid Checks: $23,948.92 Audited Checks in the amount of $23,473.33 Sewer Paid checks: $24,022.65 Audited checks in the amount of $14,816.82 ➢ Motion made by Trustee Specchio to approve payment of the bills. Seconded by Trustee Weidrick. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. MedEx Billing Account Payments: -Dansville Ambulance Co.-70% split: $29,624.25 -Village of Dansville – 30% split: $12,696.12 -EMS Payments: $2,925.00 -Invoice 2026-5: $2,704.00 ➢ Motion made by Trustee Specchio to accept the MedEx billing payments. Seconded by Trustee Wiedrick. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. 3  ➢ Motion made by Trustee Tracy to move the department head reports to the beginning of the meeting. Seconded by Trustee Button. Seconded by Trustee Specchio. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. CLOSE EXECUTIVE SESSION: Motion made by Trustee Specchio, seconded by Trustee Button to close executive session and reopen the regular meeting. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. NEW BUSINESS: ➢ Motion made by Trustee Button to hire Brad Laverty as full-time Code Enforcement Officer. Seconded by Trustee Tracy. All n favor. Motion carried 4-1. ➢ Motion made by Trustee Tracy to approve the paving of Gibson Street using CHIPS money. Seconded by Trustee Specchio. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. ➢ Motion made by Trustee Tracy to have a special meeting in executive session to discuss contract negotiations on May 26, 2026 at 4 p.m. Seonded by Trustee Button. All in favor.
