1. Community Development Block Grant FFY 2021 project review and selection,
potential project list attached as page 4.
2. The Planning Commission recently met and are presenting the following:
a) 713 Wall Street
The Commission reviewed a plan for the subdivision of lots for the development of a
single family dwelling. The applicant received a variance for lot size and front yard
width from the Borough Zoning Hearing Board.
Upon a motion by Josh Gray, second by Steve Finn and a unanimous vote, the
application was approved.
b) Center Street
The Commission reviewed an application to develop and pave a parking area
incidental to Saint Joseph’s church. The Zoning Hearing Board has granted a
variance for the project allowing a commercial parking lot in a residential district.
Upon a motion by Josh Gray, second by Steven Finn and a unanimous vote the
application was approved. As a member of Saint Joseph’s church, Richard Blosky
abstained from voting.
3. The Borough staff is working with Livic Civil to submit a Multimodal Transportation
Fund grant to address the deficiencies of the bridges over Sechler Run as defined in the
bi-annual bridge report completed by Seda-Cog, corresponding Resolution 2021-08
attached as page 5.
