MEETING MINUTES FROM THE PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE DISCONTINUANCE OF A PORTION OF CHRISTENSEN DRIVE AS LOCATED ON THE PLAT OF THE FIRST ADDITION TO THE DARLINGTON BUSINESS PARK NOVEMBER 18, 2025 The Public Hearing was called to order by Mayor Mike McDermott at 6:30 PM. Present at this Public Hearing were: Kerry Black, Joe Boll, Cindy Corley, Dave Roelli, John Sonsalla, Steve Pickett, Attorney Aaron Stauffacher, Jeff McCarthy, and Amy Johnson Mayor McDermott then turned the hearing over to Attorney Stauffacher to explain the reason for the Public Hearing. Attorney Stauffacher stated the purpose of this Public Hearing is to allow for public comment on the discontinuance of a portion of Christensen Drive, located in the business park. When vacated, the northern half of the described property shall be allocated to the Woodford State Bank, and the southern half of the described property shall be allocated to Wisconsin Whey Protein, Inc. It was reported that a Class 3 Notice of Public Hearing was published on October 23 and 30, 2025, and November 6, 2025, in the Republican Journal, posted in three places, and posted on the City’s website informing the public of the November 18, 2025, Public Hearing. No objections were filed in opposition to the proposed discontinuance. No one from the public attended this Public Hearing. After discussion and consideration, motion by Pickett, seconded by Sonsalla, to close the Public Hearing at 6:40 PM. Motion carried. CITY OF DARLINGTON Amy L. Johnson, Clerk-Treasurer
