FINANCE AND PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING APRIL 14, 2026 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike McDermott at 6:00 PM. Present at roll call were: Mayor McDermott, Dave Roelli, Steve Picket, and Kerry Black. Absent: None. Also present were: Amy Johnson, Joe Boll, Jeff McCarthy, and John Sonsalla. Motion by Roelli, seconded by Black, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. Motion carried. Under unfinished or deferred business from previous meetings, Mayor McDermott informed the committee that the Director of Public Works advertisement will remain open until the position is filled. Under new business, the committee was presented with the letter of retirement from Al Hinderman. After review, motion by Pickett, seconded by Black, to accept Al’s letter of resignation. Motion carried. Discussion was then held concerning the Janitorial/Maintenance Position job description. A copy of the description was include din the agenda packet for review. Discussion was also held concerning the Janitorial/Maintenance Position job advertisement. A copy was also included in the agenda packet. After after discussion and consideration, motion by Roelli, seconded by Black, to not advertise for this position. All ayes. Motion carried. Discussion was held concerning the Public Works Employee position description. No changes were made to the description. Discussion was held concerning the Public Works Employee job advertisement. A copy was included in the meeting packet. After discussion and consideration, motion by Roelli, seconded by Black, to approve advertising for the Public Works Employee position. All ayes.
