Special Board Meeting
Meeting held: Wednesday, June 4th, 2025
1. Call to Order: By President Alex Santacruz at 6:04PM
2. Roll Call: Cindy Corley, Matt Watler, Alex Santacruz, Patty Taylor, and Carly Winslow.
Absent: Sonja Wiegel and Shawn O’Brien
3. Motion the meeting and agenda were properly posted
a. 1st Winslow, 2nd Walter. Motion Carried.
4. Approval of Minutes from Previous Meeting
a. 1st Winslow, 2nd Walter. Motion Carried.
5. Comments and Suggestions from citizens or other interested parties
a. None
6. Unfinished Business
a. None
7. New Business
a. None
8. Closed session in accordance with Section 19.85 (1) (c) Wisconsin Stats., to
consider current Library employee for promotion to the Library Director and to
establish a salary for the position, and if appropriate, make a recommendation to
the City Council for the same
a. 1st Winslow, 2nd Corley to go into closed session. Role Call Vote: Corley, yes;
Walter, yes; Santacruz; yet, Taylor, yes: Winslow, yes. Motion Carried.
(Meeting went into closed session for discussion)
9. Reconvene back to Open Session
a. 1st Winslow, 2nd Walter. Roll Call Vote: Corley, yes; Walter, yes; Santacruz, yes;
Taylor, yes, Winslow, yes. Motion Carried.
( Meeting reconvened to open session)
10. Adjourn Meeting
a. 1st Winslow, 2nd Corley. Motion Carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:53PM.

AGENDA FOR A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE JOHNSON PUBLIC LIBRARY OF THE CITY OF DARLINGTON
TO BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, THE 4th DAY OF JUNE 2025 AT 6 PM, AT
THE JOHNSON PUBLIC LIBRARY
1. Call to order by presiding officer.
2. Roll call.
3. Motion the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted.
4. Approve minutes taken at any preceding meeting of said library board, rectifying mistakes,
if any exist.
5. Comments and suggestions from citizens or other interested parties present.
6. Unfinished business of the board from the previous meeting.
7. New business or matters to be taken up by the board.
The Committee will go into closed session in accordance with Section 19.85 (1) (c) Wis. Stats., to
interview a current Library employee for Library Director and to establish a salary for the position,
and if appropriate, make a recommendation to the City Council for the same.
The Committee will reconvene to regular session in accordance with Section 19.85 (2) Wis. Stats.,
to make a recommendation to the City Council for the Library Director and the salary for the
position, and adjourn the meeting.
8. Adjourn the meeting.
