PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
JUNE 3, 2025
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike McDermott at 6:45 PM. Present at roll call were:
Mayor McDermott, Dave Roelli, Joe Boll, Jeff McCarthy, Fritz Hanewall, and Kyle McCarville. Absent:
None. Also present were: Cindy Corley, John Sonsalla, Steve Pickett, Attorney Aaron Stauffacher, and
Amy Johnson.
Motion by Boll, seconded by Hanewall, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted.
Motion carried. Motion by Roelli, seconded by McCarthy, to approve the minutes of the previous
meeting. Motion carried.
Discussion was held concerning Resolution 2025-04, A Resolution to Name a City Street. The
recommendation was made to name the street “Walnut Ridge Drive”. Several questions and comments
were made regarding the street name. After discussion and consideration, motion McCarthy, seconded by
Hanewall, to recommend to the Council the approval of Resolution 2025-04, A Resolution to Name a
City Street “Walnut Ridge Drive.” Motion carried.
Discussion was also held concerning Resolution 2025-05, A Resolution to Name a City Street.
Hanewall made a recommendation to name the street “Maple Street”. After discussion and consideration,
motion Hanewall, seconded by McCarthy, to recommend to the Council the approval of Resolution 2025-
05, A Resolution to Name a City Street “Maple Street.” Motion carried.
There being no further business for this meeting, motion by McCarville, seconded by Boll, to
adjourn the meeting at 6:55 PM. Motion carried.

4. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (Copy
enclosed)
5. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present.
6. Unfinished or deferred business from previous Plan Commission meetings.
7. New business. Including but not limited to the introduction of Ordinances and
Resolutions.
(a) Discussion and action concerning Resolution 2025-04, A Resolution to Name a City
Street.
(b) Discussion and action concerning Resolution 2025-05, A Resolution to Name a City
Street.
8. Adjourn the meeting.
