POLICE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES SEPTEMBER 16, 2025 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike McDermott at 5:30 PM. Present at roll call were: Dave Roelli, Joe Boll, Cindy Corley, Steve Pickett, and Kerry Black. Absent: John Sonsalla. Also present were: Nick Mantsch, Jeff Spencer with Wisconsin Professional Police Association, and Amy Johnson. Motion by Roelli, seconded by Pickett, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. Motion carried. Motion by Pickett, seconded by Black, to approve the minutes of the previous meetings. Motion carried. Under new business, motion by Roelli, seconded by Boll, to go into closed session in accordance with Section 19.85 (1) (c) Wis. Stats. to meet with representatives of the Darlington Professional Police Association to begin negotiations on the renewal of the Police Union contract. Motion by Roelli, seconded by Corley, to reconvene to regular session in accordance with Section 19.85 (2) Wis. Stats., to adjourn the meeting. Roll call vote: all ayes. Motion carried.
