WATER AND SEWER COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES DECEMBER 16, 2025 The meeting was called to order by Alderperson Steve Pickett at 6:00 PM. Present at roll call were: Cindy Corley, Dave Roelli, John Sonsalla, Steve Pickett, Kerry Black, and Joe Boll. Absent: None. Also present were: Mayor McDermott, Jeff McCarthy, and Amy Johnson. Motion by Roelli, seconded by Sonsalla, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. Motion carried. Motion by Sonsalla, seconded by Black, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion carried. Under new business, discussion was held concerning equipment replacement at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Copies of quotes to replace the six-inch check valve for pumps #5 and #6 and to install a radar sensor for continuous liquid level measurement were included in the packet. Jeff McCarthy presented the information and answered questions from those present. After discussion and consideration, motion by Sonsalla, seconded by Black, to approve the quote received from Sabel Mechanical, LLC to replace the six-inch check valve for pumps #5 and #6 in the amount of $14,693.66 and to approve the quote received from Martelle Water Treatment to install a radar sensor for continuous liquid level measurement in the amount of $2,247.50.
