WATER AND SEWER COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES MARCH 17, 2026 The meeting was called to order by Alderperson Steve Pickett at 6:00 PM. Present at roll call were: Steve Pickett, Kerry Black, Dave Roelli, Joe Boll, and CindyCorley. Absent: John Sonsalla. Also present were: Mayor McDermott, Jeff McCarthy, Dave Lindecker, Szvon Conway, and Amy Johnson. Motion by Boll, seconded by Roelli, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. Motion carried. Motion by Corley, seconded by Boll, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion carried. Under new business, discussion was held concerning SCADA equipment replacement for the Water Department and Wastewater Treatment Plant. A copy of the quote received from Energenecs to replace SCADA computers, licenses, and software was included in the packet. Jeff McCarthy presented the information and answered questions from those present. The equipment replacement fund will be used to pay for the equipment replacement. After discussion and consideration, motion by Roelli, seconded by Boll, to approve the quote received from Energenecs for the SCADA equipment replacement for the Water Department and Wastewater Treatment Plant in the amount of $45,800.00. Motion carried. Discussion was then held regarding a quote from TeamViewer for secure remote access to the SCADA system. The quote for TeamViewer was $1,233.18. Jeff McCarthy stated that he is waiting for more quotes from other companies that offer the same services and are compatible with the SCADA system. After discussion and consideration, a motion by Roelli, seconded by Corley, to approve the purchase of remote access software not to exceed the amount of $1,250.00. Motion carried.
