PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 3, 2026
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike McDermott at 6:30 PM. Present at roll call were:
Kyle McCarville, Fritz Hanewall, Phil Risseeuw, Mayor McDermott, Joe Boll, Dave Roelli, and Dave
Lindecker. Absent: None. Also present were: Kerry Black, Cindy Corley, John Sonsalla, Steve Pickett,
Andrew Kurtz, Szvon Conway, Attorney Stauffacher, Joe Keyes, and Amy Johnson.
Motion by Boll, seconded by Hanewall, that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted.
Motion carried. Motion by Roelli, seconded by Risseeuw, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting.
Motion carried.
Under new business, discussion was held concerning a certified survey map for the Driver Opera
House for their properties located at 238 Main Street and 250 Main Street in the City of Darlington. Joe
Keyes from the Driver Opera House attended the meeting to present the request. After discussion and
consideration, motion by Hanewall, seconded by Roelli, to recommend to the Council the approval of the
certified survey map for the Driver Opera House for their properties located at 238 Main Street and 250
Main Street in the City of Darlington, as presented. Motion carried
There being no further business for this meeting, motion by Boll, seconded by McCarville, to
adjourn the meeting at 6:35 PM. Motion carried.

1. Call to order by presiding officer.
2. Roll call.
3. Motion that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted.
4. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (Copy
enclosed)
5. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present. (3-minute limit)
6. Unfinished or deferred business from previous Plan Commission meetings.
7. New business. Including but not limited to the introduction of Ordinances and
Resolutions.
(a) Discussion and action concerning a certified survey map for the Driver Opera house for
their properties located at 238 Main Street and 250 Main Street in the City of Darlington.
8. Adjourn the meeting.
