City Commission Minutes - Final October 9, 2018
Pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Charter of the City of Delray Beach the Mayor has instructed me to
announce a Special Meeting of the City Commission to be held for the following purposes:
SP.1. 18-676 CLOSED ATTORNEY/CLIENT SESSION pursuant to F.S. 286.011(8) re:
City of Delray Beach, Florida v. Match Point, Inc., Case No.
502016CA002812XXXXMBAA.

Purpose: Case Status Discussion and Strategy Meeting.

Closed Attorney - Client Session for October 9, 2018
Mayor Petrolia called a Special Meeting (Closed Attorney/Client Session)
to order at 5:05 p.m. and convened to the First Floor Conference Room.
Mayor Petrolia reconvened the Executive Session at 5:53 p.m.
Vice Mayor Frankel made a motion to direct Mr. Herin to share with Mr.
Baron's counsel that the desire is for him to contact the City Manager and
set up meetings for the City Commission to hear from him directly. It was
seconded by Deputy Vice Mayor Johnson. A roll call vote was taken and
the motion carried a vote of 4-0 (Commissioner Boylston recused himself).
Mayor Petrolia stated that the Executive Session was concluded and the
City Commission was back in public session.
The meeting then adjourned at 5:59 p.m.
